The Herringbone Man

With us but for a while,
He came and went in grand style.
In all the magazines and the books I've read,
From whom the villains always fled.

Touched by heavenly fire,
Though modest was his attire.
Of all the characters in the films I've viewed,
In whom the virtues are imbued.

In a league all of his own.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
A knight whose armour is two tone.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.

Nothing fancy or flash,
No high tech gadgets or cash.
Done through the spoken word and the wave of a hand,
All forces jumped at his command.

In a league all of his own.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
A knight whose armour is two tone.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.

The Herringbone Man will always dumbfound his foes,
It's a very true fact which I disclose.
The Herringbone Man with a plan
And I suppose that it's the man who makes the clothes.

Inside a darkened room where a flash transforms,
Behold the silencer of storms.

In a league all of his own.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
A knight whose armour is two tone.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
Enemies are scattering.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
He's not afraid of anything.
In comes the Herringbone Man,
He's the Herringbone Man 'cause he dresses like that.
